This jewel combines the finest enamel artistry with the extremely rare traditional craft of paillon-making. The fine guilloché pattern gives the translucent pink vitreous enamel radiant brilliance and a remarkable sense of depth.
A distinctive feature of this version is the arrangement of 20 ultra-thin gold paillons in four different star shapes. Each is individually fired into the enamel and deliberately arranged asymmetrically across the surface. Their different shapes and dense, free arrangement create the impression of a sparkling night sky filled with stars. The microscopically detailed paillons give the pendant an exceptional richness of detail and reflect the extraordinary craftsmanship of VICTOR MAYER.
