Constance – An enamel collection inspired by the poetic beauty of nature

The Constance collection by Victor Mayer is a homage to constancy and beauty (derived from the Latin “constantia” for constancy and strength). The microscopic organic structures of tiny sea creatures serve as a source of inspiration. These radiolarians embody an almost poetic balance between delicacy and stability. As drawings by the naturalist Ernst Häckel, they characterised Art Nouveau.

Each piece of jewellery in the collection is intricately handcrafted with the utmost precision. The master craftsmen at Victor Mayer use traditional techniques such as genuine fire enamelling and guilloché and combine them with innovative techniques to reproduce the delicate structures of the tiny radiant creatures.
