Brilliant Star

In the 18th century, as more and more people became interested in science in the course of the Enlightenment, astronomy became accessible to a broad public.

Symbolic representations of celestial bodies became a visible code with which the wearer expressed their interest in science and education. The crescent moon and especially the star thus became a very popular motif, which we have interpreted in a contemporary way.
